Vietnam December 2013: Cu Chi Tunnel Part 1

on our last day in Ho Chi Minh, we visited this tunnel, so far, the best experienced we had in Vietnam, mostly because we had the chance to see by ourselves where the Vietnamese hid...in a 250km complex, how they survived underground and all...

behind Han is Ms. Kim, our tour guide and our private car that we rented
going to the tunnel

before we had our tour inside the tunnel complex, we watched and listened to our tour guide's explanation of what's expected, how the natives did it, how they survived...

trapped?!

see the hole? whenever the Vietnamese are cooking underneath, that's where the smoke came out, unnoticed by the Americans...

here are the different kinds of trapped they used during the war and they are very good in coming up with all these...why? because they lacked weapons and armors so they have little resources on how to fight the enemy...

he lined up too so he could experienced the gun shooting :-)

to be continued...
