Nepal June 2012: Durbar Square

Durbar Square is found in Kathmandu City, a complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. it is also a UNESCO heritage site because it is the social, religious and urban focal point of the city...












this is the place where the said to be reincarnated 6 year old princess lived, that the people worship too...



















































this last King of Nepal was murdered by his own son, the prince (photo below), the King doesn't want the princess of India to marry his son, the prince...the prince not only killed his father, but also his mother, the Queen, his 2 sister and all the royal family who are in the palace that day...then after,he killed himself...what a tragic ending all because of love...
